Currently, the version of AnyConnect officially supported by UBC IT does not include Windows 8 and Mac Mountain Lion compatibility. We are evaluating newer versions of AnyConnect for their suitability and expect to deploy it to the myVPN service by early 2013.
Meanwhile, if you have upgraded your OS and need VPN connectivity, you may download a newer version of AnyConnect for temporary use. Since we are focusing our efforts on the official version, only limited support is available for these temporary versions.
Although we will be upgrading AnyConnect to be compatible with Windows 8, AnyConnect will still not work with VPN over a wireless connection until Microsoft provides a fix for the issue.
