Overview
A Java web plug-in vulnerability has recently been identified for Mac OS X users. Java updates are now available to help limit this potential vulnerability.
Please visit the Apple Knowledge base article and follow the instructions to update your Java installation.
Canvas is UBC's new online learning platform. Our new user-friendly platform includes features such as quizzes, chat, and a mobile app for instructors and students. Numerous external tools, such as iClicker, ComPAIR, and Piazza, can also be used with Canvas.
Connect was decommissioned on August 31, 2018, and is no longer available for teaching courses. If you're an instructor and have yet to start using Canvas, please contact your faculty's Instructional Support Unit (UBC Vancouver) or the Centre for Teaching and Learning (UBC Okanagan) for assistance.

Important Note for teaching faculty and instructors about Workday Student Launch 2 on February 26, 2024
Teaching faculty and instructors are a key impacted stakeholder group, with the tasks performed in Workday Student by this group are critical to the student academic journey at UBC.Teaching faculty and instructors will have access to Workday Student after Launch 2 based on instructor names being assigned to course sections.
