Service Notice

An adjustment of the TeamShare service will take effect on April 1, 2025. This change is required due to significant increases in costs for key components of Teamshare including hardware and software licenses and we anticipate annual price adjustments in the coming years to adapt to current market conditions. If you have any questions, please contact us at UBC IT Systems.

The TeamShare Storage Service allows Faculty and Staff to securely store and share files with colleagues internal to UBC.

The data in your TeamShare is secured using EAD groups; only members of the designated EAD group or groups can access the data in TeamShare.

Getting Started

TeamShare Storage Service Requirements:

  • An EAD account

  • The Department must be onboarded to EAD. Refer here for further details to onboard your department.

  • A billing contact and a speedchart

  • Assuming that the requirements have been met, department administrators can order TeamShare Storage Service by submitting a Systems Service Request

  • TeamShare is available 24 hours per day and 7 days per week
