Mailing List Migration Announcement Template
Hello,
This is a brief notice to inform you that the Interchange mailing list that you are subscribed to has been migrated to the new UBC Mailing List service.
The old mailing list name <insert list name>@interchange.ubc.ca has now been renamed to <insert list name>@lists.ubc.ca
Mail forwarding from the old list to the new list will be in effect for three months, but please begin to use this new mailing list name as soon as possible. After three months, any emails sent to the old mailing list will bounce.
Other changes you may notice:
1. There is a new web interface for list subscribers, owners, and sponsors.
a. If you have an active FASmail account, you can login to the UBC Mailing List web interface at http://lists.ubc.ca using your FASmail email address and your current CWL ID
b. If you do not have a FASmail account, you can sign up for a new UBC Mailing List account using the email address that you wish to associate with the mailing list service. Signup instructions are located on the project website.
2. If you subscribe to a mailing list with the digest option, you must reset this by following the steps located on the project website.
