Partnering Services facilitates partnerships between Information Technology and key academic and administrative units (partner units). Partners form strong working relationships with their partner units to identify optimum solutions, services and support; and to anticipate and resolve problems in a constructive and collaborative way. This ensures that the partner units receive the IT support they require to thrive and exemplify the IT vision. Partners work at the senior, strategic level of the partner units to accomplish their mission.
The Partner‘s Mandate
- Create a strong working relationship characterized by openness, communication, mutual trust and sharing of information to achieve a successful outcome.
- Understand the unit’s strategic goals and objectives.
- Be aware of changing requirements and technology developments.
- Help shape IT strategy for both Information Technology and the partner unit.
- Resolve issues between Information Technology and the partner unit.
