The IT Service Center Help Desk will gladly assist in the download and installation of Sophos Anti-Virus.

However, due to the complexity of the following issues, and the potential system problems that may result, the IT Service Centre Help Desk can offer limited support for:

• Virus Removal
  • Recommended Virus Removal Tools:
    • Sophos Antivirus
    • Please refer to the  section Repairing an Infected Computer
• Operating System patches or upgrades
  • Recommended Updates:
    • Always keep your Operating System up to date. Use Windows Update regularly.
    • Windows Service Pack 2 if you are using Windows XP.
• Spyware Removal (including pop up ads)
  • Recommended Spyware Removal Tools:
    • Malwarebytes
    • Ad-Aware
    • Spybot
