Microsoft
Microsoft Select Agreement allows UBC departments to purchase Microsoft Products at a very competitive price through UBC IT. As Microsoft has hundreds of products available and we only provide the most commonly used applications.
NVivo
The software enables users to collect, organize, and analyze content from interviews, focus groups, discussions, surveys, audio, social media, videos and webpages.
Respondus StudyMate
Respondus StudyMate is a desktop software instructors can download and use to create simple, animation-based activities and games using custom course content.
Respondus Quiz
Respondus Quiz is an assessment software for quickly creating and managing exams or quizzes that can either be printed and distributed as paper copies or imported to a Canvas course.
SnagIT
Snagit is a screen-capture desktop software that allows instructors to easily capture, modify, markup, and share screenshots and basic video captures of their computer screens.
SOLIDWORKS

The software listed above (excluding Tableau) is available for university staff and faculty on a UBC-owned device. - Is there any account migration involved?
No, you can continue to use your software as usual. - Can I install this software on a personal computer?
Camtasia and Snag-It are licensed for all faculty, staff and students and can be installed on personal devices. All other packages except SPSS are only available for installation on UBC-owned devices that are used for university academic, non-commercial research and administrative purposes. SPSS can be installed on UBC-owned devices for academic or non-commercial research purposes only, and cannot be used for university administrative purposes. - How do I install the software on my UBC-owned device?
