UBC/Shaw Cable provides basic digital television.
Who Can Use This?
Cable TV is available for people who live in residence at UBC. It is also available in many administrative buildings.
The following residences have cable service:
- Acadia Park
- Fairview Crescent
- Green College
- Marine Towers Complex
- Place Vanier
- Ritsumeikan-UBC
- St. Johns
- Thunderbird
- Totem Park
- Walter Gage
- University Apartments
Technical Requirements
A digital box from Shaw and a TV are all that is required.
Pricing
There is an installation fee if you want to get new cables installed (usually if there is no cable outlet at a desired location). Monthly charges may apply.
