What are Internet Access Ports (IAP)?
These are Ethernet ports available throughout campus that provide you Internet connectivity.

Where are the Internet Access Ports located?
IAP are located throughout the campus and are identified by either a yellow or green sticker; or a blue outlet. More details can be found here.

Sales/Purchasing Inquiries

Is there a charge for using the Internet Access Ports?
There is no charge to use IAP.

Setup and Configuration

What username and password do I use with Internet Access Ports?
Anybody with a CWL account (UBC students, faculty, staff and guests) can use IAPs.

What are the hardware and the software requirements for using Internet Access Ports?
Please refer to the Technical Requirements section on software requirements.

Where do I report a broken internet access port?
Problems with IAP can be reported to the IT Service Centre.
