911 Service | UBC IT maintains a special 911 Infrastructure which provides location and calling number information to British Columbia's emergency communications centre when a call to 911 is made from a 822-xxxx or 827-xxxx number. 911 calls made from a Cisco VOIP phone will reflect the location that was given during time of service activation. If the phone is subsequently moved from its original location, then you must contact Voice Services to update the location information associated with the phone. | No charge |
