Project Update:
The anticipated launch of Workspace is March 2014. The pilot program will end on February 28, 2014. You may continue to use the service during transition and your account will automatically roll over as part of the larger rollout to the rest of UBC staff and faculty. Please note that service disruptions may occur during the week of February 17 to 21, 2014 as we prepare the service for launch. We will do our best to minimize any disruptions, but we recommend all users to have their files backed up through alternate means (this automatically occurs if you have installed the desktop client).
The Workspace Pilot is now closed for new users. To begin your pilot, please visit https://workspace.ubc.ca and enter your Campus-Wide Login (CWL) credentials. Please note that Workspace is only available to users with an Enterprise Active Directory (EAD) account.
Pilot Goals
The pilot is designed to achieve the following:
- Ensure that the full deployment meets constituent user requirements;
- Operates as intended for UBC's full network of internal and external users;
- Informs the plan for scaling the service to the entire university;
- And provides the necessary user feedback for any service improvements and support requirements
